About Me

I was born in Puerto Rico, the daughter of a Puerto Rican father and a mother who was raised on a farm in Iowa. My dad served in the Air Force so we lived all over. I learned appreciation for different cultures and developed a great love for my country. I have Bachelor degrees in both International Relations and Spanish from Brigham Young University. I learned valuable negotiating skills which I have employed with developers and state officials to get the best outcomes for our city.

I’m married to Lincoln Burnham and we have 4 children, 3 living. We have lived in Eagle Mountain since 2001 and have raised our children here. Now my 2 grandchildren are growing up here.

I currently serve on the city council and want to now use the skills and knowledge I’ve gained to serve as your mayor. I plan to focus my campaign on all the positive things that are happening here. I firmly believe our future is bright in Eagle Mountain.
